We use a pickup truck and gooseneck trailer to deliver.
When turning from a two-lane road onto your property, the driveway entrance should be at least 16 feet wide. If there is a gate or fence at the road, it should be at least 20 feet wide.
If a gate or fence lets us drive straight through without turning into it, the gate or fence needs to be at least 12 feet wide.
The driveway to where the container will be placed should be at least 12 feet wide.
We will need 16 feet of overhead clearance from power lines, limbs, etc.
We need the following amount of space, starting at the back of where the container will be placed, for our truck and trailer to pull straight away from the container:
20 ft: 65 ft
40 ft: 110 ft
The area where your container is being delivered needs to be accessible with a truck and trailer.
The ground needs to be reasonably firm, smooth, and level. Please note that tires may leave marks where containers are unloaded.
Blocks are optional but may be desired if the area holds water. One at each of the four corners of the container is typically sufficient.
If you would like to have blocks under the container, please have them on hand when your container is delivered and we can help level it while unloading.
The blocks we recommend are 4in tall x 8in wide x 16in long solid concrete blocks (capstone blocks). These can be found at Lowe's, Home Depot, and Menards.
